Patina is not a paint or coating. It is a controlled chemical reaction that alters the surface of the metal itself. Because it is applied manually and reacts uniquely to each piece, subtle variation in tone, depth, and movement is expected.
What To Expect Over Time
As your sink is used, you may notice:
• Darkening in high-touch areas
• Lighter areas where water flows and dries
• Subtle spotting or tonal movement
• Ongoing color shifts that develop gradually
All of these are normal characteristics of living metal.
I had been looking and looking for a mini hammered stainless steel sink with specific measurements and I had no luck at all. But through my research Havens Luxury Metals came up so I looked up their website and was amazed. I ordered a custom sink that day. The photos were brilliant.
The day I received my sink it arrived in a beautiful wooden crate that was marked with Havens Luxury Metals and American Made!
The sing is gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. Perfect lines and seams. So impressed. And, I’ve gotten nothing but compliments on it. My only regret is that I didn’t order a larger sink I didn’t realize I had extra room.
I am so happy with this custom copper sink! It's gorgeous and fits the unusual counter cutout that was for the old sink. The workmanship is high quality, with a neat, smooth seam where the side joins the bottom. It drains well, thanks to the indented design on the bottom. My only regret is that I didn't order this sink sooner, and saved myself nearly a year of being inconvenienced by the old sink.
Absolutely stunning! Definitely the centrepiece of our newly renovated kitchen! Anxiously awaiting the accessory pieces to finish the look and add to the full Havens Luxury sink experience!
I love my Haven's sink! It replaces a larger, deeper sink that was just too much for my small kitchen. I knew what I wanted but could't find an off-the-counter sink that met my desired dimensions. Then I found Havens. Havens design team helped me final the details and now that the sink is in, I love it! My kitchen remodel is almost done and my sink is the beautiful workhorse centerpiece.
It’s completely ridiculous how much this new sink gives me pleasure. My old one had 90 degree corners that just could not be cleaned- but the cut out in my existing countertop was a totally non-standard size. Havens produced a gorgeous high quality sink that I love!!
Absolutely five star experience! The sink is stunning! It is very well made and empties perfectly. I can’t say enough great things about Havens’ customer service. They went over and beyond. Even when our fabricator made the mistake on the sink size, Havens allowed us to replace it and sped up the delivery time for us. We had a great experience with Havens! Their customer service was wonderful and very helpful when we needed to return the sink and obtain a slightly smaller size. They made our return process so easy! And they helped us get the replacement we needed quickly as well as honoring the original discount we had applied. Sorry for the delay in responding but we just moved in. The sink is absolutely gorgeous and functional. The water and food drain into the disposal without any issues unlike other brands of poorly designed sinks. We are very pleased with Havens Metal and have used them previously.

We offer a range of patina finishes from lighterto darker tonesto help establish a starting point. These ranges guide the initial appearance but do not lock the finish in place. Over time, the surface will continue to shift, deepen,lighten, or develop contrast based on use and environment.
Copper has been used for generations in kitchens, cookware, and high-touch fixtures — prized not just for its warmth and color, but for how gracefully it holds up over decades of daily use.
We do not clear coat the interior of our sinks since clear coatings can wear and eventually peel over time. Clear coating is only available on brushed aprons. Our patina finishes are meant to evolve naturally with use, just like copper and brass should.
